IO welcomes Roberto Lima, COO at Comfone, as a new member of the Advisory Board. The IO Advisory Board comprises industry leaders and experts who serve as thought partners and strategists to further the movement for developing International Roaming. In short, the IO Advisory Board serves the purpose of its name—to offer advice that helps the IO community grow and achieve its Roaming Development Goals.

Roberto Lima

Roberto Lima is passionate about international and multicultural relations, with more than 25 years of experience in the roaming business. Having worked for a mobile operator (TIM Brazil), an association (GSMA) and now a service provider (Comfone AG), he has acquired a holistic view of roaming that helps him in his decision-making process. A graduate in telecommunications engineering from the National Institute of Telecommunications (Inatel, Brazil), with an MBA from IBMEC (Brazil) and recent studies at HSG and EPFL (Switzerland), he currently holds the position of COO at Comfone, where he is a member of the Executive Board and is proudly leading the Product and Customer Operations departments.
