Announcing the M2M/IoT Roaming Lab Chair: Didier Durand from Orange

The M2M Roaming Lab appoints Didier Durand, Roaming & International Director at Orange, as the new M2M Lab Chair. We thank Johannes Opitz, former M2M Lab Chair, for laying the foundations of this Lab, focusing on knowledge sharing, and exploring new ways to improve the M2M/IoT Roaming environment. Didier will work closely with the Lab members to achieve the objectives defined in the M2M/IoT Work Plan.

“I’m really honoured to be appointed as chair of the M2M roaming Lab by the executive board of IO. M2M is a key subject for MNOs with a lot of complexity to manage the deployment of  complete M2M  services for customers and to create value for our industry at the same time. As a chairman, I’m willing to achieve concrete results that will help the community to develop a useful value added proposal for our industry. I also aim to develop  a deeper M2M knowledge  for MNOs which express a strong interest in this topic.”
