We’re pleased to announce that IO Plenary #04 will be held in Edinburgh, Scotland on 20th- 22nd June. Fàilte gu Làn-choinneamh IO 4!

Delegates can enjoy the capital city of Scotland while collaborating in the 5G, VoLTE, IoT and Roaming Connectivity Labs as well as meet with representatives of the African Roaming Alliance. We believe when considering the epic challenges ahead of us in roaming, close contact and discussion with other mobile operators is the way forward.

These sessions are restricted to MNOs only to continue working on the workstreams defined in the previous meetings:

  • ARA, African Roaming Alliance Agenda: Roaming Regulations, New technologies, Resources, Data Roaming.
  • 5GRL, 5G Roaming Lab Agenda: Challenges and Opportunities, Network Slicing, QoS, SLAs, VoNR, Testing, Fraud & Security.
  • VRL, VoLTE Roaming Lab Agenda: Progress, key challenges, handset manufacturer updates, problems addressed.
  • M2M/IoT Lab Agenda: Opportunities in Roaming, key challenges, problems addressed, best practices.
  • Roaming Connectivity Lab Agenda: Private Networks, Neutral Hosts, Roaming Connectivity, use cases.
