Announcing the New Chair of the Messaging Evolution Lab: Pablo Mlikota from e& Group

The Messaging Evolution Lab, which was established earlier this year to analyse the messaging ecosystem from an MNO perspective, is pleased to announce Pablo Mlikota, Senior Vice President for International Mobility Services at e& Group, as the new Chair.

Pablo Mlikota

Pablo Mlikota brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Currently, he oversees more than 160 million customers across 16 markets in the Middle East and Africa for e& Group. His previous roles include serving as Chief Marketing and Product Officer for the Enterprise unit at Syniverse Technologies in Tampa, FL. In addition, he was President of Sales for the Americas at Syniverse, where he played a pivotal role in securing a $750 million investment transaction with TWILIO.

Mr. Mlikota’s distinguished career also includes his tenure as Senior Vice President and Managing Director for the Caribbean and Latin America, as well as Global Strategic Programs at Syniverse. He managed sales operations in the region and led the worldwide service delivery for several major mobile operator customers. Moreover, he established a new business unit as Senior Vice President of Global Business Services and Solutions, helping clients reduce operational costs and unlock new revenue-generating capabilities through outsourcing, big data, real-time intelligence solutions, and consulting services.

Before joining Syniverse, Pablo held significant roles as Chief Operating Officer and General Manager at Newlink Group, a digital marketing firm. His extensive experience in technology also includes leadership positions in marketing, customer service, and sales at Nokia and AT&T.

Pablo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires and an MBA from the University of Miami. He is actively involved in the international academic community, serving as Chair of International Business at San Andres University in Argentina and Chair of International Business and Negotiation Skills at DeVry University’s Miami campus.

Beyond his professional achievements, Pablo is also a dedicated martial artist, having won gold and bronze medals at the 7th Taekwondo World Championship in Montreal (1990).
